Update bah.


"A series of unexpected events" happened today.
Well, will elaborate further later.

This update is dedicated to you two lah.
Although i don't like to be rushed to update
cuz i feel a blog should be a personal journal anyway,
nonetheless i feel happy seeing tagggs.
And that my blog is not merely for personal indulgence. lol.






Okay. this dates back to friday Apr. 11 (AP Style. LOL.)
It was our last caregroup together before the SIM ppl leave to form a new cg.
So we got together for one last meal at kenny rogers at marina square.



the iconic angelic bulbs. remember this.



kiwi strawberry. the drink of the day.



quarter chix. mashed potato. corn muff. CHEESE MACARONI!!!

Caregroup's not gonna be the same without carrie, kez, jesline and maurise the joke. But we're still in the same unit and definitely will see one another around often.

Then on the next day Apr. 12 we had campus tour for some freshmen who might be entering nus this year. Glad to see jiahao, tracey and farah again. =)


After campus tour we headed down to ben+jerry's at the cathay.

Okay, now back to the series of unexpected events that happened today.

(Background) It's reading week again and we're back camping at e1a and mugging. And i stayed over last night.

This afternoon i decided to had to buy some stuff and i grabbed my wallet and hp and left school. I thought it'll take just a couple of hours. Later i decided that i should head home and grab some essentials. Cuz i had so many things to bring to school i couldn't stuff everything into my bag last night. So i went home.

It was not until when i was in the lift that i realized something.


i did not have my house keys with me!


My keys were still in school cuz i didn't think i'd go home. And the worse that could happen happened. No one was at home.

So i had to loiter around till 4pm when my mum is due home. (Sian.)



It was blazing hot and i hadn't had lunch so i walked around my neighborhood in search for an air-conditioned dining area where i can sit at for about an hour.

I wound up at an italian restaurant, Finalement.
It's fine dining in the middle of heartlands.

I got reminded of what pastor jeff said during service on saturday.
Cuz i had a taste of how it's like ordering food with no idea how much the food costs, and boy the plate was big and food so small.



black pasta. $18. with prawns and scallops.
i'm okay with the price since it's something unique.


and then i had dessert.

this is love cake. $8. it's chocolate cake baked with chocolate sauce inside so the sauce oozes out when you poke inside. and there's around half a shot of hard liquor poured over and lit.

the surface of the chocolate cake is baked to crisp and when you poke inside the liquid chocolate sauce oozes out. wait for a moment and the liquor is absorbed and blended nicely into the cake and the sauce. fwah. it is good lah! made me high 3pm in the afternoon.


The chef's Italian (duh) and enjoys chatting with his customers with his Italian accent. He came over to my table and asked to see the photo which i took of the cake. He said he got a professional photographer to take photos of it but the flame didn't turn out well. Mine was better, he said, and joked that he should refer his photographer to me. Lol.


When i was about to leave it was the chef's turn to have his lunch fixed. Guess what it was? Boon tong kee chicken rice. Lol.



Okay anyway i got home packed my stuff and fell asleep until 9pm.
Now i'm back in school again and hope everything will go as planned tml.

For everything lost something else is gained in return.
For the hours i've lost today i gained a good meal and some rest.
And i'm not unhappy with neither.



Okay! Updated. Yay. It's 2:49a.m. now and i should start doing some work. Auvoir. :)
