Something interesting happened today. We were waiting for the 151 bus from school. It came, and it was the newer sort, specially designed for the handicapped and allows more standing area. It has this LCD screen that flashes short messages, and the message for today actually reads "Happy Deepavali."


Despite my vague knowledge on public holiday dates, I seriously doubt that Deepavali qualify as the most recent public holiday. (Shouldn't it be Valentine's Day? LOL) Anyway, some of us noticed that message, and aboard the bus, i dared yizhong to go up to the bus driver and tell him "Happy Deepavali."


After a short session of bargaining, the reward for accomplishing the dare is a double scope of New Zealand's All Natural Ice Cream at YIH.


And yizhong did it! After a while of contemplating and struggle though. He really went up to the bus driver and wished him "Happy Deepavali." The bus driver's expression, according to yizhong, was that he stared back wide-eyed and was lost for words. LOL!


Okay, one double-scope for yizhong then!


Anyway, dares are fun! Haha! I should start daring people and at the same time come up with an inexpensive reward! Haha!
